Hi all:
Here are some do's and don't from last year. This may be subject to change.
Also, I've requested a spot for the projector against the building between the "legs," as well as two kiosks at indeterminate locations. I'll be meeting with the other faculty on Wednesday, so please let me know if the plan changes drastically and/or if you'd prefer that I lobby for a different space (see map, attached)
Lastly, a question. . . do we really need the projection device? Or could the project succeed without it? I personally think it could. Something to consider, especially as a contingency plan.

-----------------------------------------------------
we CAN have power, but need to identify any power needs right away
-we CAN lean things against the building and attach things to the fence
-we CAN leak water soluble things onto the grass and pavement (ie water-based paint. . . is this available in spray form?)
-we CAN put stakes into the ground, but need to submit a diagram
-we CAN make noise, but risk getting shut down if things get too noisy
-we CAN store things in our classroom, provided we take up as little room as possible and put our names on everything
-we CAN'T use bikes, skateboards, scooters or alcohol (so no bike rental)
-we CAN'T expand into Grange Park or the AGO construction parking lot
-we CAN'T get things like glitter on the grass that would be impossible to remove
-we CAN'T attach anything to the legs of the building - no tape, no rope, no magnets, nothing
-we CAN'T disobey Plant Services, who will be sniffing around for infractions
-we CAN'T do any electrical wiring on our own
-we CAN'T store anything outside of our classroom until 3:30 on the Tuesday before the big day, after which we'll have access to the auditorium and the room beside the auditorium
