I have to apologize to my group and my class
for my recent lack of participation... I'm currently getting over a case of bronchitis that I developed over the past 2 weeks while on vacation, am on a couple different types of medication and have really been out of touch with the project, class and really school in general since reading week. I will try and come in today, weather and health permitting, and hopefully contribute to my group's project in some way.

Toy Ideas
Alright, so due to designer's block, I only have 3/10 ideas.
plastic keys: we've all seen them - a ring of plastic keys for babies. My idea starts with these keys, but they are coated with (or made of) heat sensitive material that changes colors with heat, so when someone puts their fingers on the keys, the fingerprint shows up.
magnetic building "blocks": instead of just straight bi-polar magnets, make some with different angle bends: 90,120,60 degree bends along with the straight magnets. This way, different shapes can be retained (as, in some circumstances, they collapse with just sticks and round magnets).
a flat touch screen that produces art according to the speed, pressure and sound of the user and the users hands. the user may hum calmly to produce calm wave-like forms, or tap the screen to produce sharp lines and dots. The screen has an automatic and manual colour choice option. This toy is for a broad age range.
